Day Hike to Talamrout Summit from Marrakech | Atlas Mountains Trek

Your Talamrout Summit Day Hike begins early in the morning with a 7:30 AM pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. After a scenic 1.5-hour drive, you’ll arrive in the mountain village of Imlil (1740m), where you’ll meet your expert local guide. From here, the adventure begins as you trek through traditional Berber villages like Ait Souka, Tamatert, and Targa Imoula, experiencing the charm of mountain life. The hike continues with an ascent to the panoramic Tizi n’Tamatert Pass (2,280m), where you’ll enjoy sweeping views over the High Atlas valleys. You’ll then hike through a peaceful pine forest toward the Talamrout Summit, reaching the peak at 2,600 meters just in time for a well-deserved picnic lunch or a freshly cooked Berber tagine, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. After lunch, you begin your descent via the scenic Tidli Plateau, where you’ll pass a picturesque waterfall before arriving back in Imlil around 3 PM.
